Intimate Apparel

“The fashion industry is the second most polluting industry in the world”—those words not only stuck with me, but were the catalyst for my aesthetic. My aesthetic is very soft and romantic, but I have a passion for making garments with a deeper sense of well being. Throughout my FIT career I have practiced eco-conscious design techniques; through extensive research, trial, and error, I have successfully naturally dyed laces, hand eco-printed fabrics, and used deadstock from FABSCRAP for my intimate apparel projects and contests. I chose to specialize in Intimate Apparel because it allows me to make my customer feel empowered and beautiful. Utilizing eco-conscious techniques within my designs is extremely important to me because I keep working to reduce my carbon footprint as an intimate apparel designer, especially in a section of the industry that doesn’t prioritize this.
