When I was in high school, I wasn’t a sewer. However, I always loved illustrating and painting. I was also always on websites like Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, looking at red carpet looks and celebrity styles. This made me realize my passion for fashion, and I wanted to mold this raw passion at the best institution in the world. After getting to FIT, I realized that I have this love toward gorgeous silks and expensive embellishments. I loved my beading and embellishments class at FIT so much, I knew evening wear and bridal was the thing for me. I would say that my design aesthetic is a balance between fitted silhouettes and exaggerated shapes. Most of the looks I design also tend to be very asymmetric, which is a thing I would like to bring into bridal and normalize it.
