I began sewing at around age five or six, when my grandmother taught me to stitch up old stuffed animals. I can say with confidence that my hand sewing has improved since then. Something must’ve clicked while I was making those wide loopy stitches because I have been sewing ever since. I moved from hand sewing to using my mothers old home sewing machine, eventually attending a trade school when I reached high school. The idea of turning raw materials into a useful, finished product always appealed to me. Whether it was cooking, sculpture, or sewing, I always used creation as my preferred means of expression. At some point along the way, I fell in love with lingerie and intimate apparel and headed straight for that as my specialization. I hope to continue to evolve and improve my design aesthetic and technical skills.
