Karli Nichols

When I was little, I would design these terrible poofy dresses with huge bows on them. I had a binder filled with my designs. When I played house, my job was always fashion design. As I got older, I started to take it seriously; I took a design class in high school and took a deep dive into the world of design. Looking back, I always knew I loved knits. I had a huge scarf and sweater collection, and now it’s overflowing. I didn’t know how much I loved them, though, until I actually started to learn how to knit. It is truly my passion. I would say my aesthetic is very minimalistic, but at the same time, funky and different. I like designing clothes that people feel comfortable in and clothes that make people happy.
