Becoming a fashion designer was my childhood dream. I already knew I wanted to design at a young age. I am a creative individual who enjoys expressing my creativity and mood through apparel. I started my journey at the age of 10. My sewing skills were passed down to me from my grandmother. I must say, it has been a rocky yet successful adventure. I studied fashion design at a private school. However, I felt something was missing. I took a break from school to figure out my life purpose. I knew FIT was where I needed to be. Here I am, an eighth-semester fashion design student at the Fashion Institute of Technology specializing in Sportswear. I decided to specialize in sportswear because it is innovative design and the ideas are endless. I appreciate tailoring and I would describe my aesthetic as clean and structured.
