I did something creative every day growing up whether it was alone or with a family member. I am fortunate enough to have grown up within a family of artists, and creating is something we would often do together. It’s always brought me peace and allowed me to express myself in a way words don’t. I began Precollege classes at FIT in eighth grade and continued through my senior year in high school, when I had the luxury of having a professor give notes on our portfolios in the final class. I design because it allows me to express myself and share my creativity with others in a way that can make them feel good. Clothing is a part of our lives, and I’ve always firmly believe that if you look good, you feel good. I design to make myself and others feel good every time they wear my clothing.
