My inspiration for wanting to become a designer would be my great-grandmother. She gave me my first sewing machine, and she was the one who introduced the idea of making clothes. From there I had the goal of owning my own clothing line, and I wanted to go to FIT to achieve my goal. I attended the High School of Fashion Industries, which helped me to get an understanding of fashion and the construction of clothing, which led to me being interested in having a career in fashion, so FIT was my first choice. At FIT I was able to discover my love for sportswear /streetwear clothing and who I am/want to be as a designer.
