There is something to be said for creating an object with one’s hands. I always feel the need to create, use my hands, manipulate things and transform them into other things. I design because it is what my mind naturally goes to when I pick up a pencil. There was never a time that I said “Oh, I want to be a designer”; it was more like it was always there and I just had to act on it. I like creating for working women of all ages. Working women are the superheroes of today’s world. I design for women who want to be the best that they can be. Growth and comfort in oneself is the feeling that I want women to embrace when they are wearing my clothing.
