A proud alumnus of FIT, Patrick Boylan has been an Adjunct Professor in the apparel area of the Fashion Design department since 2010. Prior to his time at FIT, he taught at Parsons/The New School of Design.
On the international front, he has been a visiting professor at Zhejiang Sci-Tech University in Hangzhou, China since 2015. He has partnered with universities in Taiwan, Chile, and Argentina to deliver the kind of design education that ranks FIT among the finest fashion schools in the world. Beyond the academic studios of FIT, Patrick balances a diverse design career. He is the owner/designer of Grace Liturgical Vestments, an internationally recognized ecclesiastical design business that he founded in 2000. He is a proud family man sharing life’s adventures with his husband and their son and daughter.
