A few years ago, I had a genetic test. I discovered that I have the genes of many ethnic groups in my body, which made me reconsider my relationship with today's society. No culture is independent. We relied on each other. I was inspired by traditional Hmong clothing, so for my thesis project, I used old-stock Hmong silver jewelry and old used blankets as my fabric. I want to start from the perspective of the nation, reuse these discarded things to create new clothes, and let more people see these beautiful ancient cultures.
