As I educate children who are dazzled by the power of clothing, I recall the birth of my own love for fashion. In my community, it's an obligation to dress to impress, and my mother took it upon herself to make me perfect like a porcelain doll. My earliest memories are of my mother and I, as she prepared my hair and outfit. This collection is inspired by the dolls I was once modeled after.
