A friend once shared the metaphor of community as one body. When your hand is cut, you immediately tend to it. You don’t let it fester and go untreated. What if we treated society the same way? Tending to the oppressed and marginalized as if they were us, and we were them, honoring each other as shards of the divine? As parts of one entity, like veins pumping blood through one body, in unison. Collective explores this idea of radical care amidst an individualistic, hyper-capitalist society.
