My collection is deeply rooted in my Venezuelan heritage. It represents my personal journey of reclaiming and reconnecting to my indigenous Warao ancestry. The Warao collection is meant to feel authentic and familiar while drawing inspiration from heritage natural materials and resources. By reimagining traditional basket weavings into knitwear, I pay tribute to the culture that was forcibly taken from me, honoring the pivotal role that indigenous communities play in Venezuela's identity.
