The theme of my collection is Hwatu, a traditional Korean card game often enjoyed during holidays. A Hwatu deck contains 48 cards, which typically include motifs such as flowers, animals, seasons, and landscapes. The pictures on the cards have various themes and beautiful designs. Hwatu cards inspired the detailed beaded designs on the dress. The silhouette of the dress echoes the domestic elegance of the 1950s.
