Incongruous was created for those who don't belong, fit in, or make themselves small enough to be accepted. My garments were designed as an ode to the unconventional. The pieces are meant to be the comfort that some individuals never got and the home they’ve yet to find in a world that won't cater to them. I referenced both Elsa Schiaparelli and Bonnie Cashin along with my own heritage. Combining those designers' aesthetics with mine, I created a dreamy, surreal blend between sportswear and couture, full of hardware and unconventional silhouettes.
