My collection Imaginarium was inspired by the magical mirror in the movie The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. In the movie, the mirror has the power to create an imaginary world that reflects one’s past experiences. My collection reflects the world created by this magic mirror, which is eclectic and surreal. It reflects my experiences of living in Vietnam and studying in the U.S. In my journey through this imaginary realm, I have come to better understand myself and further define my aesthetic.
