My thesis, Rise of Phoenix, is inspired by the life cycle of a phoenix. It highlights how in the beginning of the phoenix’s cycle, they are in a time of destruction, confusion, and darkness. However, once they rise, they are renewed as the powerful Phoenix. Rise of Phoenix also represents my time at FIT. I had to deal with a lot of setbacks and confusion about who I am as a designer. I have found my voice as a designer and have risen from all obstacles. I am the phoenix.
