The top is made from layers of organza, cut away in a butterfly pattern.

Reversible top can be worn different ways. Once the sleeve is untied, top can be worn as a skirt.

This dress is inspired by the pupae of the butterfly. It is pleated and made from vinyl.

A close up of the vinyl dress is shown. It has numerous pleats and ridges. The pleats are narrow at the top of the garment and get wider at the bottom.

The vinyl fabric is manipulated to look similar to a pupae. It was sewn closely in long rows.

My collection is inspired by Metamorphosis and the ideas of transformation and change. Everything is always in flux, and as the saying goes, the only constant thing in life is change.
