My collection is the story of a designer facing limitations due to social expectations and breaking through to find her true self. Building was used as a metaphor for her story: cracks in the building as her persona and the interior structure as her ego. The first look, reflecting the designer's persona, is heavily focused on deconstructed tailoring to symbolize the fragmented aspects of her outward image. Conversely, the second look, shows her ego's softer, more genuine layers using drapes, sheers, and neutral tones.
