Celina Szado is a multidisciplinary designer and creative director with a passion for crafting visually driven products across apparel, accessories, and lifestyle categories. With over three decades of experience, Szado has collaborated with a wide range of brands—from heritage icons like Coach, Ralph Lauren, and Calvin Klein to contemporary labels like Larroudé, Barneys NY, and Victoria’s Secret.
Szado’s work is rooted in a deep understanding of the entire product development process, from design concept and brand identity to patternmaking, technical construction, and execution. She learned to sew and make patterns from her fashion-obsessed mother at a very early age, and won her first design contest at the age of 10. Born and raised in Canada, Szado transferred from Toronto Metropolitan University to the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she earned an AAS in Fashion Design and a BFA in Fur Design and Marketing.
Outside the studio, you’ll find her exploring mid-century architecture or wandering through vintage shops in search of the next spark of inspiration. She draws creative energy from street fashion, pop culture, and global influences—always looking for ways to fuse past and present.
