Garden Poetry

Side view of model curled into a squatting pose that allows the hand-knit green gown to drape naturally, highlighting the structural layers and contrasting textures of the knit. The pink mesh panels in the skirt extends under gravity, creating a sense of lightness and three-dimensionality.

Inlay method panel with cut-out yarns. Gore made from drop stitch and bridging stitch.

Back view of standing model wearing green knit floor-length gown. The pink mesh skirt panels naturally flare under gravity, revealing a lightweight and flowing three-dimensional form, like a blooming trumpet flower.

The stripes are composed of panels with various textures.

The model stands on a wooden box, with a slightly low-angle view from the front, gently pulling at the hem of her floor-length knit skirt to showcase the dynamic drape and textural details of the fabric.

I used drop stitch and lattice to form 3D pink mesh with knotted sculptural accents.

The photo is taken from a side-back angle, showcasing the overall silhouette and details of the blue and green knit garment. The model stands naturally, highlighting the structure and dynamic effect of the clothing, as well as the garment's layering and knitting techniques.

The garment blends nature and culture through line elements inspired by Chinese garden windows.

Close-up photo is taken from a slightly side-front angle, highlighting the overall structure and details of the blue and green knit garment. The model stands with arms raised to highlight the layers and design elements of the garments, especially the hollow design and tie details at the waist.

The hollow design at the waist enhances the garment's visual appeal.

Inspired by the natural layout and architectural aesthetics of Chinese gardens, I wanted to incorporate this unique oriental flavor into my clothing. In the design process, I used traditional Chinese window flowers as the core element, not only in pattern design but also skillfully integrated into the cutting and silhouette. The geometric structure of the window flower and the exquisite openwork give the dress a rich sense of hierarchy and create a visual effect of the virtual.
