My thesis is about my father, a stone mason who owns a stone and tile company. I grew up surrounded by stones and tools. Due to his influence, I learned how to use drills and tools and became familiar with them. My thesis outfits are inspired by tools and stones. I use pleating and diagonal lines similar to the drill, and my color palette is derived from natural stones. Additionally, I used my technical knowledge to make my skirt spin, similar to a drill using gears and a motor.
