My design is inspired by my personal experience of overcoming hardship with the support and love of my family, friends, and community. I depict this love and support through an entangled, melting image created with a jacquard pattern and manipulated cables. Additionally, I symbolize liberation and elevation with a wing-shaped cape, crafted using stitches that mimic the texture of feathers.
