Nevermore. is a meditation on death and grief through a lens of my own memories and religious trauma. It exists in the deep blue night between life and not, where memories and nostalgia turn to ghostly, haunting forms. Inspired by imagery from Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven" and Dante's "Inferno" and "Purgatorio," the Nevermore. collection comprises a slate trench in organza with "shifting smoke" handpainting, an asymmetrical black satin top, and tailored pants.
