Sakinah seamlessly weaves traditional Uzbek elements with contemporary design, capturing the serene beauty of Samarkand. Its flowy yet structured garments embody timeless elegance and my journey of embracing my culture. Look 1 is inspired by my school uniform, while Look 2 reflects the Paranja and Islamic architecture. I used Uzbek ikats (adras) as my main fabric, enhancing them with other textiles to add depth and richness, creating a harmonious blend of past and present.
