Blue, my constant return, my memories. The sky I seek to rediscover my essence. The sea I visit to remember home. My mantra, my peace. The beauty and fragility inherent in all things blue are woven into my identity. In Turkish, there's an expression, "spill the stones from your skirt." It suggests that relief comes from unburdening oneself; otherwise, memories will bury you, leaving your heart unhealed and sorrowful. Yet, it is from pain that the most profound and moving works emerge. This collection, then, is an evolution of my own pain, encompassing the fragmented memories I hold, my diverse textures, my fragile and dreamy fabrics, and the stones I have yet to release—a journey towards being unburdened.
