Character Over Mind explores my struggle with OCD, capturing the conflict between control and chaos. Inspired by my poem A Pill A Day, the garments reflect the cyclical nature of intrusive thoughts and compulsions through repetition and contrast in design. The pieces embody both the burden and beauty of OCD, highlighting the paradox of a mind that craves order but rebels against it. This work speaks to the universal challenge of maintaining composure while grappling with the complexities of the mind.
