Breath over Beauty continues my exploration into creating new textiles from fabric scraps, challenging conventional approaches and encouraging fresh ways of thinking. Rather than using actual feathers, I've repurposed strips of fabric scraps from cut waste, individually tacking them onto the textile to create a frayed, feathery effect. By merging my retro-futuristic aesthetic with this message, I aim to inspire a shift in the industry: prioritizing appreciation over exploitation.
