The collection draws on the experience of ending a relationship, expressing the journey of moving from a identity within partnership to independent self-actualization. The three elements of this experience are defined as Absence, Vulnerability, and Self.  The research draws on contemporary artists like Yves Klein, Robert Rauschenberg, and Francesca Woodman. I used a method of cyanotype printing of my own body to create silhouettes as a way of expressing the lasting impression of a moment in time.
