Simbarashe Cha is an Emmy Award-winning director and the style photographer and a visual columnist for The New York Times. He pens two columns: Style Outside, which documents major fashion weeks around the world as well as seasonal reportage of evolving style in New York, and Look of the Week, a weekly feature that highlights one particular person or couple that Cha finds on the streets of various international cities to discuss their own personal style and ethos. Though he comes from a commercial film and photography background, Cha began as a both a writer and street photographer in the early 2010s. His work is known to show an insight into the fashion industry that is accessible, often by capturing a relaxed and casual side of models, celebrities, and notable figures.
