Suyi

My collection draws inspiration from Suyi, the Korean burial garment that embodies dignity and quiet simplicity, reimagining death not as darkness but as a romantic moment of comfort where memories gently return.
This perspective shapes the collection's loose, soft silhouettes and the use of linen and silk, similar to the traditional fibers of Suyi, while stitch textures echo silver grass; a childhood memory of my grandmother that ties the idea of remembrance to material and form.
