Contemporary life is saturated with consumption and media. A similar submersion occurred in the 1950s, when artists rejected spectacle in favor of quiet, stillness, and process. This collection reflects that return to simplicity, balancing repetition and blank space. Mohair fibers blur and obscure, while silk introduces moments of clarity; warped proportions shift perception, and elongated fringe gestures toward movement and freedom, inviting a slower, more attentive way of seeing and being.
