The Divine Descent

Two looks, two models: The divine descent traces the performance's arc through voluminous forms that breathe, pleats that fold like memory, and the insistent presence of red. Here, texture becomes the primary language—speaking through a single color's infinite variations. Red—actions of energy, where every surface tells the story of motion made tangible and vitality made form. It takes inspiration from the folk dance Theyyam performed seasonally at temples of my hometown, Kerala.

The collection takes inspiration from the folk dance Theyyam, performed seasonally from dawn to dusk at the temples in my hometown of Kerala. The ancient art is performed to embody the god and bless the devotees. The collection traces the performance arc through voluminous forms that breathe, pleats that fold like memory, and the insistent persistence of red (action of energy). Texture becomes the primary language where surface tells the story of motion.
