Through the use of hand-painting ombré techniques, I created an abstract multicolored chiffon.

Synthopated explores themes relating to synesthesia, a neurological condition in which people see colors when they hear music. Eliciting an abstract blending of senses and the fleeting feeling music holds in life. With the use of hand-painted ombré chiffon, bias strips, weaving, and an abstract swirl motif throughout. Creating an elegant couture gown with a whimsical and playful twist.
