This collection explores the stillness of violence and the emotional aftermath it can leave. Developed within the instinct and response of the body, the work is not an explicit narrative but an atmosphere of psychological tension, memory, or survival. Violence is not always obvious. It is often present in silence, in pressure, and in the slow disintegration of a sense of security. The collection reflects upon these invisible pressures and how they can persist in emotional landscapes beyond any particular event or moment. Instead, the work attempts to sit with trauma and to create room for vulnerability and strength to inhabit the same space. Bones recur as a symbol of constraint, pressure, and contained rage. Color is an emotional language, where red indicates intensity, blue conveys heaviness and stillness, and black denotes absence and disorientation. Dove feathers appear throughout this work as a small image of escape and the wish for freedom. With cutting, stitching, and construction, the act of making becomes a process of transformation.
