This two-look collection highlights how my cultural identity consciously appears in my designs. Using simple silhouettes, I wanted to emphasize the handmade embellishments created from fabric selvages and dragon-scale trims. As a Chinese American designer, these pieces reflect a moment of focus bringing together my thoughts, heritage, and craftsmanship to create garments that feel intentional and personal. The work reflects learning to let go of complexity and appreciate the simple clarity.
