Emergence
Emergence, defined as the process of becoming. Through the use of the fabric manipulation trapunto, the designs in this collection illustrate how the things we often suppress end up coming to the surface and symbolize transformation through the skeletal shape created through trapunto. The mix of sheer fabrics alludes to the idea of being able to see past the surface of the façade most of us create.
