Threaded Heritage
My thesis project started with the idea of choosing to take a step back to look at where my identity comes from and who I truly am. This process incorporates inspirations and elements of architecture, historical garment references, and the spirit of my culture in a perspective of who I am today. The collection itself is a reflection of my foundation, a reminder to myself that moving forward sometimes begins with taking a step back.
