Samika Presents: Apsara Collection I

Featured are the Apsara oversize pleated hoodie and ultra-baggy pants alongside the Angkor-knot mini. The pants feature functional snap pleats that allow the wearer to undo or adjust the pleated train. The Angkor mini features hand-stuffed and sewn knots that demonstrate the greenery seen in the Angkor Wat temples.

Samika is the marriage of my Cambodian culture with American streetwear. Apsara Collection I is rooted in Cambodian heritage and inspired by the diverse immigrant communities that shape the U.S. Samika is for people to explore the dualities within themselves, their cultures, and their gender identity. With a mix of feminine and masculine silhouettes, each adaptable piece encourages self-expression and comfort, reflecting the fluid intersections of modern identity.
