habitual
Habits are quiet rituals of body and mind, born from restlessness and woven into daily rhythm. A bitten nail, pressed lip, shaking leg: small gestures revealing inner tides. They become languages of comfort and unease. We fidget with people, too, forming bonds that soothe yet bind. In my designs, I incorporate repetition, trapunto, pleating, and gathering to express these habits, reflecting our need for routine and the fragile beauty of breaking free.
