Macy’s Mission Every One – a peek at the awarding-winning looks and finalists

As a part of Macy’s commitment to inspire the next generation of designers and creators through their social platform Mission Every One, Macy’s is proud to be the title sponsor of FIT’s Future of Fashion.

Macy’s Capsule Collection 2025 Finalists and Winner
Macy’s x FIT Capsule: The Every Body Collection, focuses on elevated fabrics and flattering silhouettes that appeal to a wide range of body shapes and celebrate real women. The winning look will be sold in a short run in Macy’s Herald Square in Fall 2025.

With the goal of  fostering the next generation of fashion designers, Macy’s launched a Capsule Collection for graduating students of the Fashion Design BFA . The collection features the creative works of talented students, offering a glimpse of the innovative ideas that will shape the future of the fashion industry. Through this program, Macy’s provides these students with the chance to gain real-world experience and create a professional portfolio that will set them apart in a highly competitive industry. The collaboration with Macy’s also offers these students a unique opportunity to showcase their designs to a broader audience, potentially launching their careers on a much larger scale. In a rapidly changing industry, programs like the Macy’s Capsule Collection for FIT students are essential for the continued growth and development of the fashion industry. Macy’s Empowered Design Award is a new initiative which honors a student who powerfully conveys their inspiration through a final design.
