Daija Simpson is the knitwear designer at Oscar de la Renta. She graduated from FIT and has been in the industry for over 7 years. She is extremely passionate about knitwear, as a knitter herself.  Prior to Oscar, she worked in knitwear development and design at Knit Resource Center, Stoll, Knit Resort, and Studium, working on development for brands like Narciso Rodriquez, Theory, Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren, and Tory Burch. In these years, she became very well versed in the technical side of knitwear, including domestic knitting.
