My cowgirl couture thesis was inspired by my love of Western wear. I wanted to create garments that were fun and flirty but still have a refined couture look and are executed fabulously. I love the idea of lingerie worn as outerwear and mixing nontraditional fabrics you wouldn't usually find in lingerie, such as denim, with traditional lingerie fabrics, like lace. This experimentation with different fabrics really allowed me to interpret lingerie in my own way.
