My thesis is inspired by my own fictional character, the Queen of Gotham. If she existed in the Batman movie, she would rule Gotham City. Butterflies are her spirit animal. My designs are looks that the Queen of Gotham would wear. You will see a lot of inspiration drawn from gothic architecture, cathedrals, stained glass, and regal silhouettes. Fabrication consists of custom appliqué lace, embroidered silk chiffon, and silk charmeuse. Pearls and rhinestones are used for an enhanced effect.
