This collection was inspired by a woman whom I had never met, Francine. Francine passed away after a long life, and afterward, her family held an estate sale for her belongings. From what I gathered through her items and her style, she was one of a kind. The treasures I had brought home were unlike any I had ever seen, from boxes of buttons, to coats, shoes, hats, embroidered handbags and gloves. She made each piece unique. I wanted to encapsulate Francine's strong, sophisticated and feminine approach to incorporate into my pieces. I wanted to honor her.
