The Truth Hidden Within

Sexual assault is a topic that we as a society deem taboo. We avoid talking about the hard things. My thesis is meant to bring to light the topic of sexual assault. Allowing sexual assault to be more freely spoken about allows survivors to feel more comfortable speaking up.

This collection was inspired by the #MeToo movement and the artwork of David Deweerdt. I hope my thesis collection shows the ups and downs of being a sexual assault survivor.
