This collection is an ode to my father and his backyard garden. Each look highlights the “behind-the-scenes” of its creation: the battle between my father and the pest-like garden weeds, the repatching of holes left by trespassing squirrels, and constant DIY failures. By mixing qualities of an avant-garde design approach with technical garment details and unconventional materials, this collection references the 11 years of effort my father put into this garden.
