Elevator Effect

"The Elevator Effect" essay by Isaac Asimov shows how elevators have changed our perception of time, space, and architecture by compressing them into a seamless experience. This has enabled new perspectives and challenged our imagination. The essay also applies to the inaccurate portrayal of our present in 1960s science fiction. However, this inaccuracy has also inspired creativity and new design elements. This collection is inspired by such inaccuracy.
