Meet the Designer
When I was young, I was always interested in sewing and drawing. I made my first skirt and blouse when I was in the 5th grade. I liked the clothes so much that I wanted to become a fashion designer. I especially wanted to make beautiful dresses with flowers, so when I got to FIT, I already knew I wanted special occasion to be my specialization. My design for this collection was inspired by Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23: II Adagio. The soft and poetic movement of this piece, always makes me realize the beautiful harmony of music and nature. In my collection, I’ve used smooth and elegant lines that are expressed in the soft tones of the music and opted for a pastel color palette inspired by beautiful flowers and natural landscape.
