A dramatic blue houndstooth pattern jacket with navy and mulberry colored blocked collar; a blue floral printed bandeau top with vintage buckle and high-waisted glen check patterned pants with welt pockets; a fly front zipper, and flared bottoms shot against the New York City skyline.

Reminiscent of old movie musicals, dancing at a pier with the New York City skyline in the distance, showing the jacket lining’s contrast color pop on the ensemble.

I became interested in fashion design at a young age while scouring in store clothing racks. What really motivated and pushed me into the field was costume design. With its own unique challenges, costume design is a special medium that is rooted in versatility of inspiration, motivation, and storytelling.  As a designer, I bring character into clothing to create much more than a garment and push myself to work outside of my comfort zone. I would consider my design aesthetic to be elegant, flirtatious, business in the front, and party in the back.
